With several production credits on the Magna Carta Holy Grail album under his belt, Timbaland has revealed what it was like working with Jay-Z, after falling out of contact with the mogul for several years.
In an interview with Diddy's new Revolt TV network Timbo says, "Jay and I fell out; I missed his 40th [birthday]... It was over petty stuff. It was more personal stuff and disagreements. It was not industry-related. It was personal and I was wrong."
"It was low key, nobody know about this (sic)... But when you're real friends, you will disagree and not speak and come back together and realize that you're better together than apart," he explains.
Fortunately, the pair re-established their friendship just in time for Jay's newest effort. Magna Carta Holy Grail marks the first time the pair has collaborated since Hov's 2009 project, The Blueprint.
