Robin Thicke credits his son, Julian Fuego, for the success he's had with his career-defining album, Blurred Lines, and its record-breaking title track featuring Pharrell and T.I.
"He’s obviously the best thing that’s ever happened to me. He’s my good luck charm," the 36-year-old singer tells People.
Robin also shared that his only child could potentially be the next to carry on his musical legacy.
"He’s three and! He's always talking about hooking up with the band," Robin says. "He tells me he’s going to New York and 'They’re going to pay me, Daddy!' It’s cute and adorable."
Robin's wife, Paula Patton, recently described her son as an "extrovert" while promoting her latest film, 2 Gunz. The actress told People, Julian wants to be "just like Daddy," adding that "he ...he certainly got the gift from Daddy."
It's possible showbiz could be in Julian's future; after all the kid has already contributed an introduction to Robin's song "Ain’t No Hat 4 That." The number, which appears on Blurred Lines, is a family production, co-written by Robin's father, actor Alan Thicke.
