Continuing the tradition of inviting her favorite artists to duet with her onstage during her current RED tour, Taylor Swift welcomed Sara Bareilles to the stage Monday night in Los Angeles. Sara joined Taylor in a rendition of her current hit, "Brave."
Introducing the song, and Sara, to the crowd, Taylor said, "Guys, there's a song that came out a few months ago, and I listen to it every single time I have a bad self-esteem day -- which is a lot."
She added, "This song is so beautifully written. It's so original. It's something I've listened to hundreds and hundreds of times by an artist who I absolutely adore. A singer-songwriter who's so incredibly talented, it's ridiculous. She came here out of the goodness of her heart to sing for you tonight."
Afterwards, Taylor tweeted, "Tonight at Staples was an absolute DREAM. @SaraBareilles came out to sing 'Brave', one of my favorite songs. And she completely smashed it!!"
Sara tweeted a photo of two young girls posing with Taylor, and wrote, "My nieces were really happy!! I sang BRAVE with the unbelievably kind and generous @taylorswift13. What a gem of a human. Thank you for the sparkle, the screaming, the twinkle, the dreaming, and most of all the pep talk . Your fans are amazing!"
