Report: Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora Not Returning to the Tour This Year

Photo: David BergmanSince Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora left the band's tour suddenly back in April, fans have held out hope that he and Jon Bon Jovi could patch up their differences, paving the way for Richie to rejoin them on the road.  Well, apparently, all hope is now gone.  A new report alleges that Sambora's been "fired" from the tour.

The website claims that differences between Richie and Jon are "irreconcilable," and that Sambora will not return to the band this year.  Sources tell the website that it's all about money.  Richie had been making 2 million bucks a month and 20 percent of the profits after each show -- this, apparently, despite his absence from the tour.  After all, he did co-write most of the songs, and his likeness appears on all the merchandise as well.

His temporary replacement, guitarist Phil X, is only making $10,000 a month.

A source told the website, "Richie wants to go back on stage -- that's his first love.  He's really upset over the news."
