Steve Winwood's busy tour itinerary has just gotten a little busier. The ex-Traffic/Spencer Davis Group frontman has scheduled a handful of headlining gigs to go along with his upcoming series of dates opening for The Allman Brothers Band and Rod Stewart.
The new concerts will take place on off dates during the Stewart tour, which is scheduled to run from an October 17 performance in Greensboro, North Carolina, through a December 15 show in Toronto, Canada. The headlining concerts are scheduled for October 21 in Louisville, Kentucky; October 25 in Indianapolis, Indiana; December 6 in Oakland, Pennsylvania; and December 12 in Silver Springs, Maryland.
First up for Winwood, though, is his stint supporting The Allman Brothers. The six-date outing kicks off this Friday in Darien Center, New York, and is mapped out through an August 31 show in Charlotte, North Carolina.
