A unique pair of platform boots owned and signed by Elton John are among the pieces of memorabilia being auctioned on eBay to raise money for Amnesty International's work in support of human rights. The knee-high boots, which date back to the glam-rock era, are made of black leather and feature six-inch heels decorated to resemble gold piano keys.
The winning bidder also will receive an autographed photo of Elton, as well as two tickets to see the pop-rock legend perform at the Bestival event on September on the U.K.'s Isle of Wight. Bids will be accepted on the boots until September 2 at 2:57 a.m. ET.
Other collectibles available as part of the Amnesty International auction include a drum head autographed by most of the members of Genesis, as well as items signed by Colplay, Jamiroquai, Kid Creole and more.
