Meat Loaf is preparing for his upcoming Las Vegas residency as the star of the first installment of the RockTellz & CockTails series at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The show, which debuts on September 26, will be a multimedia event combining live music performances, archival film footage and a Q&A segment during which the singer will field questions from the audience.
"Every night will be different," Meat Loaf tells the Las Vegas Sun's Vegas Deluxe column. "The show will go wherever the audience takes it. I'm not afraid to answer any question that gets asked."
The Bat Out of Hell star promises that in addition to hearing his candid confessions, those who attend the performances will be treated to "a true, kick-ass rock show [that's] unlike anything else I've ever done in my career."
He adds, "Fans are going to walk out of the show and be amazed."
Vegas Deluxe reveals that the show will feature a video that was filmed specially for the event to accompany Meat Loaf's rock 'n' roll epic "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." The star will sport a red-and-black jacket emblazoned with an "M," and he'll be joined on stage by a singer-dancer named Lyssa Lynns, who will portray his love interest.
Meat Loaf's RockTellz & CockTails stint will feature weekly performances on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings through November 5. Other as-yet-unannounced artists will star in future installments of the show. Find out more info about the event at RockTellz.com.
