Reba doesn't throw anything away, so she had plenty of stage clothes and memorabilia to loan the Country Music Hall of Fame for their new exhibit, Reba: All the Women I Am. When she sent the items over, Reba was relieved to have more storage space freed up at her home north of Nashville.
She tells The Tennessean with a laugh, "I have a four-car garage and there’s not a car in it."
Reba's exhibit opens this week and runs for 10 months. After that, Reba has to decide where she wants to store all that memorabilia.
"This stuff is not coming back here,” she says. “That’s what my sister Alice said, ‘What are you going to do, open a museum?’ I said, ‘Nope, someone else can, but I’m not.’ I don’t know what I’m going to do with it all, I guess just put it in a warehouse storage somewhere, but it’s not coming back here.”
Reba will sit down for an in-depth interview Saturday afternoon at the Country Music Hall of Fame to celebrate the exhibit opening. If you can't be there in person, the interview will be streamed live at CountryMusicHallofFame.org.
