Luke Bryan's last album, tailgates & tanlines, catapulted him to superstar status and sold two million copies. Those kind of album sales figures are rare these days, but Luke is determined to beat those numbers with his new album, Crash My Party, due out next Tuesday, August 13.
He says, "In my opinion what would define the success of this album is obviously to sell three or four million albums."
Luke should be able to pull off a triple or quadruple platinum album if his Dirt Road Diaries tour is any indication. That show is one of country's hottest tickets this year, and the music on Crash My Party is designed to make Luke's concerts even bigger.
Luke explains, "My main thing is to continue to move the needle on the fans knowing that I’m upping my game constantly, and coming with better songs, and singing better than ever, and fueling the live show in whatever is going on to the ability to grow into bigger and bigger and bigger venues constantly for as many years as I can. "
While Luke would certainly love to headline stadiums in the U.S. in the next few years, he hopes to take the music on Crash My Party to other countries too. Despite those global ambitions, Luke assures fans he's determined to stay true to his south Georgia roots with this new music.
"If I can do that on this album, it's a success," Luke says.
Crash My Party features the #1 title cut as well as Luke's latest single, "That's My Kind of Night."
