While no definitive plans for a long-awaited Faces reunion appear to be in the works, fans at least can take comfort in knowing that singer Rod Stewart and guitarist Ronnie Wood remain on good terms. The Daily Mail reports that the two rock legends were spotted having dinner together with their wives on Monday in London.
The couples were photographed at The Arts Theatre Club, a private members venue in the city's Soho section. Pics posted at DailyMail.co.uk show Wood, Stewart, Rod's wife Penny and Ronnie's spouse Sally, all stylishly dressed, posing arm in arm and smiling for the camera.
Stewart had been expected to reunite with his fellow surviving Faces band mates when the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012, but illness forced him to miss the ceremony. Rod has told the media on a number of occasions that he still would consider playing with the Faces again, although Wood's commitment to The Rolling Stones continues to be a bone of contention. In a interview with Billboard published last week, the singer said a Faces reunion would have to "wait 'til we know the Stones are finished."
