The 28th annual Farm Aid festival will feature the usual headlining performances by the charity's co-founders Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson, as well as by longtime board member Dave Matthews. Young will be joined on stage by his longtime backing group Crazy Horse, while Matthews will be accompanied by Dave Mathews Band guitarist Tim Reynolds.

Other artists slated to hit the stage this year include Young's wife, Pegi, and her group The Survivors; Nelson's son Lukas and his band Promise of the Real; Toad the Wet Sprocket; Jack Johnson; and Amos Lee.

In addition to the various performances, the webcast, dubbed "Farm Aid 2013 Live Presented by Amy’s Kitchen," will feature artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.

Founded in 1985, Farm Aid benefits, supports and promotes independent, family-run farms throughout the U.S.
