Hunter Hayes Performs "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" on Upcoming Elton John Tribute Album Hayes is one of the artists lending his voice to an Elton John tribute album marking the 40th anniversary of Elton's classic album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.  Hunter actually performs the title track, and Elton is really, really impressed with the recording.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member told a crowd of University of Southern California students Monday night that Hunter played all the instruments on the track.  Elton added, "He blew my mind."

The Elton tribute album is expected to come out next year.  Elton's new album, The Diving Board, is in stores next week.
