Former GN'R Bassist Duff McKagan to Deliver Keynote Speech at 2013 CBGB Festival

Duff-Loaded.comDuff McKagan has signed on to participate in the festivities for this year's CBGB Music & Film Festival Conference.  The former Guns N' Roses bassist will deliver the Music Festival Keynote speech at the event, which will be held October 8-13 at more than 150 locations throughout New York City.

The lineup for the second annual event includes showcase concerts from Cream drummer Ginger Baker, Patti Smith guitarist Lenny Kaye, Sex Pistols bassist Glenn Matlock, New York Dolls guitarist Syl Sylvain, Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome, Smithereens frontman Pat DiNizio and Lisa Loeb, among many others.  In addition, the CBGB movie will premiere during the opening day of the fest, at 8:20 p.m. ET at Manhattan's Landmark Sunshine Theater.  The film will hit theaters nationwide on October 11.
