Jay-Z has announced on his official website that he has collaborated with luxury clothing retailer Barney’s for his first curated clothing collection.
"With this project, Barneys New York and I were able to take the slickness, energy, and innovation of New York City and translate that into quality, timeless pieces," says Jay in a statement.
He adds, "Everything that encompasses ‘A New York Holiday’-- the items chosen, the amazing designers that participated, the windows, the design of the BNY SCC Gallery -- represents a perfect example of a unique and groundbreaking collaboration that I hope demonstrates how inspiring New York has been to me."
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from sales of the collection, which includes designs from Balenciaga and Balmain, will benefit Jay's Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
Beginning November 20, the products will be available in the BNY SCC Gallery, with prices ranging from $70 to more than $33,000. You can visit Barneys.com to learn more about the collaboration.
