Sara Bareilles Says Her Old Pal Adam Levine's Engagement Doesn't Mean He's "Settling Down"

Danny ClinchMuch has been made of the fact that Maroon 5's Adam Levine, one of pop's most eligible bachelors, is finally settling down, because he's gotten engaged to girlfriend Behati Prinsloo.  But Adam's old friend Sara Bareilles says this doesn't mean that Adam will all of sudden be living the quiet life.

"They're both so young and vibrant," Sara says of Adam and his future bride.  "I don't think it's gonna look like settling down.  I think they'll be jet-setting for a while."

Sara, who's known Adam and some of the other guys in Maroon 5 since the '90s, back when they were called Kara's Flowers, says she approves of the match, and so does everyone around them.  She tells ABC News Radio. "Behati is such a sweetheart and everyone in that whole world, all of Adam's friends and band mates, everyone loves her....she's very easy to love.  She's just a sweetheart."

So, does this mean that Sara will be attending Adam and Behati's wedding?  "I don't know," she laughs. "I haven't received my invitation, so maybe not!"

It'll probably be a while before Adam gets married anyway. Not only is he on tour with Maroon 5 until early October, but the new season of The Voice is starting up later this month.  As for Sara, she'll wrap her tour with OneRepublic at the end of this month, and then launch a solo headlining tour in October.
