Check Out Electronica-Infused Remix of The Who's "Who Are You"

Geffen; Facebook.com/TheRunDMTOne of The Who's most enduring and popular songs has been cleverly reworked into a dance tune by an Austin, Texas-based musician who records under the name of Run DMT.  The electronica artist has remixed "Who Are You," modernizing the tune by adding staccato beats, swirling synthesizers and fuzzed-out bass.

Run DMT tells Rolling Stone that he worked on the track for almost three months, while it usually takes him about two weeks to complete a remix.

"I could not wrap my head around the idea of a dubstep-ish remix of such a classic, meaningful song, he explains.  "I floated through several concepts, all of which fell short of the power of the original."

He adds about the project, "It was like remixing my childhood."

Run DMT's "Who Are You" remix currently is streaming exclusively at RollingStone.com.
