If you thought you'd seen quite enough of Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards, think again. The singer goes buck naked in the new video for her song "Wrecking Ball," and her famous tongue puts in another appearance as well.
The video begins with a close-up on Miley's face as she begins to sing the anguished breakup ballad. Next, we see her leaning up against a concrete wall holding a sledgehammer, and then walking across the floor dragging it behind her.
Then, cut to Miley wearing just a white tank top, white panties and boots, standing in a room with concrete walls, picking up the sledgehammer. She rubs the hammer against the wall and kisses it, and then a -- you guessed it -- wrecking ball comes smashing through the wall. The room collapses around it, and then we see Miley actually riding on the wrecking ball itself.
The singer starts out riding the ball in her tank top and panties, but then all of a sudden, whoops! -- she's buck naked. While we can see her tan lines and tattoos, you never actually see her naughty bits -- but clearly, she was in her birthday suit when she filmed the clip. That's intercut with images of her licking the sledgehammer, and using the handle in a manner similar to the way she used that foam #1 finger at the VMAs.
The video ends with a tearful Miley lying on her back on a pile of smashed up concrete, back in her white tank top and panties, clearly exhausted by the emotion in the song.
The "Wrecking Ball" video was directed by Terry Richardson, a photographer who's known for collaborating with Lady Gaga, and who has been criticized for his sexualized images of young girls.
