Clapton, Plant, Santana, Fogerty and Springsteen Among Stars Performing at 2014 New Orleans Jazz Festival
The lineup for the 2014 edition of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has been revealed, and it features an impressive lineup of major classic-rock artists, including Eric Clapton, Santana, John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters. The event takes place over two weekends from April 25 through May 4 in the Big Easy.
Santana is scheduled to perform on April 25, Plant and his group will hit the stage on April 26, Clapton will giving a headlining performance on April 27, Springsteen and company will play on May 3 and Fogerty will help close out the festival on May 4. For Plant, Clapton and Springsteen, the New Orleans Jazz Fest marks their first announced U.S. concerts of the year.
Dozens of other artists also will perform during the annual musical and cultural extravaganza, including Boz Scaggs, Johnny Winter, Aaron Neville, Bobby Womack, John Hiatt, Lyle Lovett, Phish, Chaka Khan, Delbert McClinton, Allen Toussaint and The Radiators.
