Mick Fleetwood Says Fleetwood Mac Will Start Work on New Album with Christine McVie in March

FleetwoodMac.comChristine McVie, who recently officially rejoined Fleetwood Mac, apparently is already busy preparing new music for the group.  Speaking earlier this month with The Maui News, drummer Mick Fleetwood revealed that the singer/pianist has written some new songs and will start recording an album with most of her band mates in March.

Mick added that Fleetwood Mac was planning to launch a new tour with the revamped lineup in the fall.  He also reported that McVie's warmly received surprise appearance at a February 2013 concert by his Mick Fleetwood Blues Band at the Castle Theater in Maui, Hawaii, was a catalyst for her return to Fleetwood Mac.  Christine later went on to perform with all of Fleetwood Mac at two of the band's London concerts in October, marking the first time in more than 15 years that she played live with the group.

The last Fleetwood Mac studio album McVie appeared on was 1995's Time.
