Peter Frampton, Randy Bachman Inducted into Musicians Hall of Fame

Mile Hough; Frampton, Randy Bachman of The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive fame, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan and his group Double Trouble, and blues guitar legend Buddy Guy were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame Tuesday in Nashville, The Tennessean reports.

A total of 12 new members were inducted during a ceremony at Nashville's historic Municipal Auditorium.  Frampton and Guy did not attend the event.

Other inductees include country singer Barbara Mandrell, Late Show with David Letterman band bassist Will Lee, and the late Ben Keith, who played pedal steel guitar with both Neil Young and country legend Patsy Cline.  Young attended the event to accept the honor on behalf of Keith.

Roy Orbison was posthumously honored with the first Iconic Riff Award for his classic "Oh, Pretty Woman."
