Jason Aldean Thinks Tour Mates Florida Georgia Line Can Fill Country's Brooks & Dunn Slot

Greenroom PRJason Aldean launches the new leg of his Night Train tour Thursday night in Louisiana with special guests Florida Georgia Line and newcomer Tyler Farr joining him on the bill. In the past few years, Eric Church and Luke Bryan have graduated from opening Jason's tours to headlining big treks of their own. Jason sees similar success in Florida Georgia Line's future.

He says, "Right now, a song comes on the radio, you know it's them. It's their deal, and I think that's part of what makes a superstar is having that. You know, I like that. I like the energy they bring. I like their songs."

As far as country duos go, Jason thinks Florida Georgia Line is following in the footsteps of another legendary country act, Brooks & Dunn, who went their separate ways a few years back.

"Not that I'm comparing them to Brooks & Dunn," Jason explains, "But I think those guys have kind of filled that void, and they've got a chance to kinda be that new generation of that big duo. They're on fire right now."

Look for Jason to announce additional tour plans for 2014 on ABC's Good Morning America Thursday morning. He'll also sing his latest hit, "When She Says Baby," on the show.
