None of them are British, but Pink, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga have all received nominations for this year's Brit Awards, the British equivalent of the Grammys.
All those acts were nominated in the "International" categories; and others who received nods include Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and Lorde. The awards will be handed out February 19 in London.
As for the British artists who were nominated, One Direction is up for two awards: British Group and British Single, for their version of Blondie's "One Way or Another." Jessie J is up for British Female Solo Artist; Passenger's "Let Her Go" has also received a nod for British Single. Rock legend David Bowie, who returned to music in 2013 after a ten-year hiatus, is nominated for British Male Solo Artist and British Album.
Two big British stars not among this year's nominees: Ed Sheeran and Adele.
