Brian Wilson to Showcase New Songs & Perform with Special Guests at Las Vegas Concert on Friday

Credit: James Minchin IIIBrian Wilson will play a special concert this Friday at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas that will feature a variety of musical guests and will be taped for a special scheduled to air in 2015 on public television and the AXS TV channel. 

The Beach Boys mastermind will be joined at the event by his longtime band mate Al Jardine, former Beach Boys sidemen Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar, fun. singer Nate Ruess, acclaimed jazz trumpet player/composer Mark Isham and Sebu Simonian of the Los Angeles indie-pop act Capital Cities, among others.

The show will feature performances of songs from Wilson's upcoming solo album, titled No Pier Pressure, as well as classic Beach Boys tunes and other selections from his solo catalog.  Wilson recently posted a photo of No Pier Pressure's cover art on his Twitter feed, and revealed that the album will be released in early 2015.
