Olympic Medalist Asks Taylor Swift to Be His Valentine

Image Courtesy NBC Olympics via TwitterBack in January, Olympic athlete Nick Goepper briefly met Taylor Swift on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards.  Well, now that he's a medal winner, he's gotten up the nerve to ask her an important question.

The 19-year-old, who just won a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in the Men's Slopestyle event, posed for a photo that NBC's Olympic Twitter feed posted on Friday. It shows him with his medal around his neck, holding up a sign that says, "Taylor Swift, will you be my valentine?"

So far, Taylor hasn't responded; she's more focused on Olympic skater Gracie Gold, tweeting about checking the schedule so she can watch her skate. But others have taken to Twitter to warn Goepper against getting involved with Ms. I Knew You Were Trouble.

"Trust me pal, it won't last," tweeted one fan in response.  Another warned, "Bro, you dont want to call her out, she gone write the next about you!"  But another fan added, "If Nick is OK with having a song written about him, I say go for it!"
