Jason Mraz, who's hard at work on a new album, has announced an acoustic tour for next month. The trek kicks off March 15 in Santa Cruz, California, and visits various stops along the West Coast before wrapping up March 31 in Redding, California.
Tickets for the tour, which will feature Jason performing with his pals, the group Raining Jane, go on sale February 21. Jason has said in the past that his new album will be a collaboration between him and Raining Jane, because they've been writing songs together for quite some time.
"After many long weeks experimenting in the studio, we're ready to test our creations on the road. West coast here we come!" Jason wrote on his website. "Join us in March for an intimate run of shows and experience some of what’s to come on album5!"
Before the tour begins, Jason will appear at All for the Hall, a charity event benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville. He'll be performing alongside classic rockers Heart, and country icons Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris. The event takes place March 4 at Club Nokia at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
