If you’re looking for a Bonnaroo kind of experience for country fans, you might want to head to Forest City, Iowa this Memorial Day weekend. Brad Paisley and Toby Keith will headline the first-ever Tree Town Music Festival there, along with a who’s who of today’s country stars.
Brantley Gilbert, Chris Young, Tyler Farr, Charlie Worsham, David Nail, JT Hodges and Sarah Darling are among the artists who’ll play the festival’s two stages, including one called “Little Nashville” that aims to duplicate the honky tonk experience of Music City’s famed Lower Broadway.
Tree Town will be held at Forest City’s Heritage Park, a 2,000 acre space with close to 2,000 campsites. The park opens on Friday, May 23, with concerts following on Saturday and Sunday. Two-day passes are available for $120 through the festival’s website through March 14.
