John Mayer to Perform at Second Annual Benefit for Autism Charity

ABC/Randy HolmesJohn Mayer will be among the performers at the second annual Light Up the Blues Concert, a fundraiser for the Autism Speaks organization which will take place April 5 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. 

The benefit event will be hosted by Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills & Nash fame, and CSN will be headlining the show. In addition to CSN and John, former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will also perform. Tickets for the show will be available for purchase starting this Saturday at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster outlets and

The concert is scheduled to coincide with Autism Awareness Month and promotes Autism Speaks' annual Light It Up Blue campaign.  As part of the initiative, which kicks off on April 2 -- World Autism Awareness Day -- many homes, businesses, buildings and landmarks replace their white light bulbs with blue ones to help promote the cause.

Autism Speaks is also a charity that is supported by John's girlfriend, Katy Perry.  Two years ago, she performed at another benefit for the organization in New York City, and she also auctions off tickets to her concerts to raise money for the cause.
