Remember back in December, when Selena Gomez said she was canceling her Australian tour? At the time, she said in a statement, "It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be." Well, it turns out that last month, she did just that, enrolling herself in a wellness program at an Arizona facility.
To be clear, Selena's rep tells ABC News Radio that her stint at Dawn at The Meadows recovery facility in Wickenburg, Arizona was not "rehab," as has been reported. "Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse,” the rep says.
According to the facility's website, among the conditions it treats are depression, "love addiction," "love avoidance," panic and anxiety disorders, trauma, and codependency.
