Elton John, Derek Trucks Among Artists Whose Bonnaroo Performances Will Be Streamed Live This Weekend

Bonnaroo Music and Arts FestivalThe 13th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival kicked off on Thursday, but as might you'd expect, most of the biggest acts performing at the four-day extravaganza will be hitting the stages over the weekend.  Among the stars scheduled to appear at this year's fest include Elton John and Allman Brothers Band guitarist Derek Trucks.

If you're not able to make it to Manchester, Tennessee, for the event, you'll be able check out some of the action by logging on to, which will be streaming select performances live from Friday afternoon through Sunday.  In addition, fans who have an Xbox One or Xbox 360 device can download the Bonnaroo app and watch the performances and additional content, including backstage footage, bonus videos and Skype interviews.

Elton's set is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, while Trucks will give two separate performances on Saturday that will be streamed.  The first will be at 3:30 p.m. CT with his group Tedeschi Trucks Band, which also features his wife, singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi.  The second will be a Superjam event that Trucks is hosting, which gets under way at 12:15 a.m. CT.  For that performance Derek will be joined by a bevy of special guests, including Tedeschi, Chaka Khan, Taj Mahal and Los Lobos singer/guitarist David Hidalgo.

Among the many artists whose sets also will be streamed live are Jack White, Lionel Richie, Cake, Damon Albarn and Vampire Weekend.
