After Richard Dunn's self-made video of himself singing Celine Dion's "All By Myself" in a Las Vegas airport went viral, Celine responded with a video saying how much she liked it, and inviting him to one of her shows. Now, the diva is putting her money where her mouth is: she'll be giving Dunn and his wife the VIP treatment this Fourth of July weekend.
A rep for Celine confirms to ABC News Radio a TMZ report saying that Celine plans to have Dunn and his wife attend her show in Vegas the weekend of July 4th, and she's footing the bill for their hotel stay. Not only that, the rep confirms, but she plans to personally greet Dunn before the show. Dunn tells TMZ that he's "pretty blown away" by Celine's offer.
As previously reported, Dunn's clip, which was technologically dazzling, was posted to Vimeo on June 9. It's now racked up close to 15 million views. In Celine's response video, she told Dunn, "I have to say that the video was hilarious and very touching: I loved it. But next time, when you're stuck all by yourself at the Las Vegas airport for hours and hours, please be a guest at my show."
Referencing the fact that the video included many shots of Dunn slumping dejectedly outside the women's bathroom at the airport, Celine added, "By the way, Richard, you're more than welcome to use my bathroom. So, hope to see you soon. Thanks!"
