Peter Criss Named Honorary Chairman of "10,000 Hot Dogs"

The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties has partnered with Sabrett Hot Dogs for the fundraising campaign, which aims to end hunger in that part of New Jersey.  A $5 donation at or by texting "hotdog" to 41444 will help FoodBank deliver 15 meals to those in need this summer.  Sabrett has also pledged to donate up to 10,000 hot dogs, matching each $5 donation with a goal of raising $50,000, which translates to 160,000 meals for the needy.

Since his departure from KISS ten years ago, Criss has led a fairly low-profile life.  He participates in breast cancer awareness and fundraising events, having survived male breast cancer in 2008.
