Heart's Ann Wilson to Perform at Rolling Stones-Themed Benefit Concert in New Orleans Next Month

Daniel Knighton/WireImageHeart frontwoman Ann Wilson will lend her powerful voice to Stones Fest New Orleans, which will be held July 17 at the famous Big Easy club Tipitina's.  The show is the latest in an ongoing series of star-studded Rolling Stones tribute concerts that raises money for the Sweet Relief charity.

The lineup for Stones Fest New Orleans features an eclectic list of musicians and other celebrities, including ex-Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum, Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis, Wilco's Pat Sansone and Glenn Kotche, Vanessa Carlton, Doyle Bramhall II and New Orleans legends Walter Wolfman Washington and George Porter Jr.  All proceeds from the concert's ticket sales will go toward Sweet Relief, which aids musicians in need of financial assistance because of illness or other issues.

Stones Fest is organized by The Best Fest, the same group that also puts together the Dylan Fest and Petty Fest concert-tribute series that have been held in various cities over the last decade.
