Jon Bon Jovi Joins Lineup for 2014 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala

AEG LiveJon Bon Jovi is among the latest stars who've joined the lineup for this year's Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner, which will take place June 12 in New York City.

The New Jersey rocker, along with Chubby Checker, country stars Vince Gill and Martina McBride, American Idol season 12 champ Candice Glover, R&B singer Miguel, indie-pop duo A Great Big World and R&B singer Aloe Blacc, will either perform or present awards at the event, which recognizes current and legendary artists for their achievements in songwriting.

Those being honored this year include Ray Davies of The Kinks; folk-rock great Donovan; British Invasion songwriter and 10cc member Graham Gouldman; the songwriting team of Gamble & Huff, who were instrumental in the creation of the "Philly Soul" sound; and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, who'll receive the Hal David Starlight Award, given annually to a young songwriter.
