With the recent announcement that The Allman Brothers Band will play its final concerts ever this October, a run of shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, fans now know that they only have a limited number of chances to see the group live again. With that in mind, the Southern-rock legends have put up for bid a very special concert experience that will allow two lucky fans to watch one of those last performances right from the stage of the venue!
The highest bidder will receive two tickets to The Allman Brothers' October 24 show at the Beacon, where they will be seated on the stage during the performance, and also will get backstage passes. Money raised by the auction will benefit the David Lynch Foundation, an organization founded by the acclaimed movie director that supports programs to teach young people Transcendental Meditation.
Bidding is open until June 19 at 2 p.m. ET. Visit CharityBuzz.com for all the details.
The Allman Brothers Band's final shows are scheduled for October 21, 22, 24, 25, 27 and 28.
