Over the last few years, Train has managed to land some interesting guest stars for their videos -- like David Hasselhoff, Hawaii Five-0 star Daniel Dae Kim and football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen -- and their brand-new clip, which premieres on Tuesday, is no exception.
The band posted a photo of a pair of hands on Twitter this past week and asked fans to guess, from the hands, who the guest star of their new video for "Angel in Blue Jeans" would be. They've now revealed that the hands belong to tough guy actor Danny Trejo, star of the movies Machete and Machete Kills. He's also appeared in Spy Kids, Con Air and From Dusk till Dawn. Or perhaps you may remember him from Breaking Bad: he played Tortuga, a DEA informant who was killed by the Mexican cartel. His severed head was placed on a tortoise, which concealed a hidden bomb.
"Angel in Blue Jeans" sounds like it could be the soundtrack to a Western, which is why Trejo seems to fit the bill. In addition, the band tweeted that the clip stars Hannah Simone, who plays CeCe on Fox's New Girl.
The video for "Angel in Blue Jeans" premieres Tuesday on VEVO. The song is the first single from the new Train album Bulletproof Picasso, due September 16.
