Earlier this year, Cher Lloyd toured with Demi Lovato, and now the two women are tearing up the charts with their new collabo, "Really Don't Care." After observing Demi on the road, Cher says she's a big fan of the former X Factor judge's ability to cast off her inhibitions when she's rocking the crowd.
Pronouncing her experience on the road with Demi "amazing" and "really, really good," Cher, a former X Factor U.K. contestant, tells ABC News Radio, "I think she just lets loose, and has a good time and I really appreciate that."
While "Really Don't Care" is a hit, Cher has her own album to promote: her sophomore U.S. release Sorry I'm Late arrived in stores at the end of May. The singer, who married her longtime boyfriend this past November, tells ABC News Radio that the disc shows a new maturity on her part.
"I think on the last record, people saw the more fun and energetic and bubblegum sort of pop vibe of me," she explains. "There's still elements of that in Sorry I'm Late but, y'know, I grew up! So there's many more different elements and sounds...I've worked a lot on my songwriting, so there's a lot of that going on as well."
After spending a lot of time in the U.S., Cher's currently back in the U.K. to promote her album.
