Styx & Foreigner Donating Money to Philadelphia Fire Dept. Charity After Wednesday's Tour Bus Fire

ABC Public RelationsStyx and Foreigner are hitting the stage tonight at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey, for the latest concert on their Soundtrack of Summer co-headlining tour, one day after a fire damaged two buses servicing the bands' road crews.  The blaze broke out Wednesday afternoon while the vehicles were parked in a secure lot in Philadelphia and was quickly contained by local fire department workers.

As a thank you for squelching the fires, Styx, Foreigner and the Rock to the Rescue organization are donating proceeds raised by sales of The Soundtrack of Summer compilation CDs sold at this evening's show to the Philadelphia Fire Department Local #22 Widows Fund.  According to Styx's management, "the local fire departments of Camden and Philadelphia will be on hand at tonight's show in case the show gets too hot."

The Soundtrack of Summer album offers a selection of classic songs by Styx and Foreigner, plus a newly recorded version of "Hotel California" featuring members of both bands and the tour's special guest, ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder.
