Fabulous Fourth of July Concerts: Cheap Trick, Kansas, Foreigner, Styx and Many More

iStock/ThinkstockBesides enjoying fireworks, barbecue and a day off of work, classic-rock fans in the U.S. will be able to celebrate the Fourth of July by checking out some cool concerts by a variety of great artists around the country.

Among the veteran stars scheduled to perform today are Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper and his tour mates Motley Crue, Kansas, Eddie Money and George Thorogood and the Destroyers, not to mention America and "American Pie" singer Don McLean.  In addition, the Soundtrack of Summer Tour featuring Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder will be stopping in Scranton, Pennsylvania, while Journey's joint trek with the Steve Miller Band will be entertaining crowds just north of the border in Ottawa, Canada.

Here's an alphabetical rundown of many of the acts that will be playing Independence Day concerts across North America:
