New Edition of Jimmy Page Memoir Arriving in October; Page Taking Part in November Q&A Events in NYC

Image Courtesy of Ross HalfinIn the spring of 2010, Jimmy Page's official autobiography was published as a high-quality limited-edition volume that quickly sold out.  The book, titled Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page, features the Led Zeppelin guitarist's recollections of his eventful life and career, and includes more than 600 photos chosen by the rock legend to accompany his story.

Now, a revised, more-affordable version of Jimmy Page by Jimmy Page is scheduled to be released on October 14.  In celebration of the updated publication, Page will head to New York City in November for a couple of promotional events.  On November 5 at 7 p.m. ET, the 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will visit the Barnes & Noble store in Union Square, where he will chat about the book and sign copies.

He also will take part in a special interview event that will be held on November 3 at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.  During the Q&A, which already is sold out, the guitar master again is expected to discuss his autobiography and talk about his colorful life both in and out of Led Zeppelin.

The events will take place the week after the second installment of Led Zeppelin's reissue campaign -- expanded versions of 1971's Led Zeppelin 4 and 1973's Houses of the Holy -- will hit stores.
