Sam Moore of the legendary soul duo Sam & Dave will be featured this weekend on the latest episode of CBS Sunday Morning. For the show, the "Soul Man" singer returned to Memphis, the city where he and the late Dave Prater recorded their classic hits, where he was interviewed by correspondent Anthony Mason.
At 78, Moore continues to record new music. Most recently, he lent vocals to a new song by the bluegrass group Nu-Blu, a duet tribute to late country star George Jones titled "Jesus and Jones." Earlier in 2014, he released a song called "They Killed a King" that paid homage to Martin Luther King Jr.
According to his official website, Moore only has one confirmed concert appearance on his itinerary -- a December 31 show at the Talking Stick Casino in his current his current hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona.
