The Pretty Reckless Makes Radio History

Image Courtesy Justin Campbell/Razor & TieThe Pretty Reckless recently made history by being the first female-fronted rock band since Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders to have two consecutive number one songs at rock radio as measured by the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart.

"Messed Up World" is the current song from the Pretty Reckless, following up the success of the band's first single, "Heaven Knows."   "Messed Up World" peaked at #1 last week. Both tunes are from the band's Going to Hell album, which was released in March. The two songs went to the top of the rock radio charts -- the first such milestone from a female-fronted band since 1987, when the Pretenders had two consecutive chart-toppers with "Don't Get Me Wrong" and "My Baby."

The chart-toppers also make the band the only female-fronted band to top the list with its first two hits, according to Billboard.

The Pretty Reckless is on tour for the next seven weeks.
