Bruno Mars Honored for His Work with Make-a-Wish

John Paul Filo/CBSBruno Mars has been honored for making wishes come true. The singer was named as one of the recipients of Make-A-Wish’s 2015 Chris Greicius Celebrity Award for his dedication to the charitable organization.

Bruno has been working with Make-a-Wish, a foundation that grants wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses, since 2012. During that time, he’s brought joy to the lives of more than 16 children.

Other recipients of the award this year include Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus and professional snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White. The awards were presented at the organization’s 35th Anniversary Global Conference last week in Anaheim, California.
