Lady Gaga to Perform at amFAR Gala Honoring Ryan Murphy

Monty Brinton/CBSLady Gaga is set to help honor the man who gave her the first big acting gig of her career. According to Variety, she’ll be performing at amFAR’s L.A. Inspiration Gala honoring American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy.

Ryan will be receiving the Award of Inspiration from the Foundation for AIDS Research for his contributions to the entertainment world as well as his work in the fight against AIDS.

The black-tie event will be held on October 29 at Milk Studios and will be hosted by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. The co-chairs for the event include many of Gaga’s American Horror Story co-stars, including Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer and Sarah Paulson.

Gaga stars as bloodthirsty hotel owner The Countess on American Horror Story: Hotel, which premieres October 7 on FX.
