David Crosby Schedules Fall US Tour in Support of Upcoming Solo Album, "Lighthouse"

Credit: Henry DiltzDavid Crosby has lined up a late-fall U.S. tour to promote his forthcoming solo album, Lighthouse, which will be released on October 21. The trek, which will visit a variety East Coast cities, kicks off November 18 in Atlanta and is mapped out through a December 15 show in New York City.

The folk-rock legend will be accompanied at his upcoming shows by what he describes as "a dream team of musicians" -- Lighthouse co-producer Michael League of the Grammy-winning modern-jazz group Snarky Puppy, New York-based jazz-pop singer/guitarist Becca Stevens and Canadian singer/songwriter Michelle Willis. Crosby will be performing songs from Lighthouse as well as reinterpreted versions of some of his classic tunes from The Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash and his previous solo efforts.

In other news, Crosby announced that a new song from Lighthouse titled "The Light of Common Day" will be released this Friday, October 7. You can check out a 20-second clip of the tune at David's official Facebook page.

Meanwhile, Crosby will make a special album-signing appearance on Lighthouse's release date, October 21, at 6 p.m. ET at the Barnes & Noble Union Square store in New York City. A limited number of wristbands will be given out for the event starting at 9 a.m. that day. David will only sign CD or vinyl copies of the album that have been purchased at the store.
