Lady Gaga Debuts New Monster High Doll, Zomby Gaga

PRNewsFoto/Mattel, Inc.Lady Gaga has debuted her new Monster High doll, which she helped design with her younger sister Natali Germanotta. Zomby Gaga is being released by Mattel as part of the toy company's partnership with Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

The doll’s style was inspired by one of the looks in Gaga’s “Born This Way” video. It has pink hair pulled into a high ponytail, a tailored black tuxedo and black sunglasses. Oh, and her face is painted like a skull -- but a cute skull. Zomby Gaga is posed with her hands on her hips and is casually blowing a pink bubble.

The doll also comes with a plaid shirt dress and a pair of fishnet tights. It retails for $29.99 and will go on pre-sale Monday, October 17 at 9 a.m.

“Born This Way Foundation is all about being yourself, loving who you are and being kind to others. I am so proud of my sister Natali for designing Zomby Gaga,” the singer says in a statement. “Together with our mom and Monster High, we are excited to spread the values of love, kindness and bravery to young people around the world.”

Mattel’s Monster High franchise aims to promote acceptance and individuality. Gaga, who’s appropriately known as Mother Monster to her fans, announced last October that her Born This Way Foundation signed a three-year deal with Mattel to work towards empowering young people.
