Fergie to Headline NYC Pride’s Dance on the Pier

Image Group LA/ABCFergie is making her comeback. In addition to teasing new music, the singer has just been announced as the headliner for this year’s NYC Pride Dance on the Pier event.

NewNowNext reports she’ll perform some of her biggest hits as well as debut some brand new tracks at the 30th anniversary of the event, which closes out the city’s LGBT pride festivities on June 26.

“I’m so honored to be performing at the 30th Dance on the Pier at NYC Pride, the largest LGBT Pride celebration in the world,” she says in a statement. “We’re going to create something extra special to celebrate this milestone.”

In addition to it being the 30th anniversary of Dance on the Pier, it also marks the last time the event will be held at Hudson River Park’s Pier 26. The Pier is being transformed into a recreation space and marine center.
