Blink-182's Mark Hoppus Promises "Awesome" Tour: "Everything that We Can Throw into This Tour, We're Gonna Put In"

ABC/Paula LoboBlink-182's massive summer tour kicks off tonight, July 21 in San Diego. The pop-punk trio will be supporting their new album California, but they won't be forgetting their early material.

"It's gonna be an awesome tour," bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus tells ABC Radio. "We are playing new songs, old songs, playing all the hits, playing deep album cuts for fans that have been listening for a long time."

Blink won't be scrimping by with the production, either.

"We have pyro, we have video walls," Hoppus says. "Everything that we can throw into this tour, we're gonna put in."

Hoppus certainly has high hopes for the tour, the highest of which being that you'll leave the concert "saying, 'That's the best show I've ever seen.'"

To find out for yourself, you can catch Blink-182 on tour all the way into October. A Day to Remember, The All-American Rejects and All Time Low will support on select dates.
