"A Line in the Sand" is the closing track from Linkin Park's latest album, The Hunting Party. Mike Shinoda previously called "A Line in the Sand" one of his favorite songs on the album, since "it feels like it does everything that [Linkin Park] does, in one song."

Linkin Park currently is working on their follow-up to The Hunting Party. While the band hasn't shared any new music from the album yet, Chester Bennington says that "the songs are amazing."
