Train is not only going to release a new single next week, but now we've also got a bit more information on their next album. reports that the disc -- the band's eighth studio album of original material -- will be called A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat, and it'll be out in January.

As for the new single, it's called "Play that Song," and the chorus is based on the melody of the 1938 standard "Heart and Soul" -- better known as the song that Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia danced to on the giant keyboard in the classic movie Big. It's coming out on Friday, September 30.

Train performed "Play that Song" live multiple times during their recent run of August dates with Andy Grammer; you can check it out online.  Train frontman Pat Monahan told, "It's an upbeat song. It's fun."

The band's last two releases were the 2015 holiday album Christmas in Tahoe, and this year's Train Plays Led Zeppelin II, which featured them covering that classic album in its entirety. They donated the proceeds from that album to their favorite charity, San Francisco's Family House.
