Billy Corgan has announced a new project called "Thirty Days," an endeavor that will take the Smashing Pumpkins frontman across the United States on a month-long road trip filled with interviews and new music.
"There will be new musical pieces, there will be interviews with people and stuff that we do, and we're gonna try to document this journey and put together some sort of collective vision," Corgan explains in a Facebook video.
As a part of "Thirty Days," Corgan plans to compile 50 of his favorite songs that he's written in honor of his 50th birthday. He'll also be sharing music from an upcoming covers album, as well as news on new original music he's working on. Corgan has been recording a new solo album with producer Rick Rubin, which will be released in April or May.
